I need some advice on how to get my man (who has a temper) to not go on this trip that I dont agree with.?

I am engaged to the man of my dreams. Unfortunately he has his faults (as we all do), he has a bad temper and bipolar. Anyway, he wants to go on a trip to bike week in SC. I just started a new job so I cant take the time off to go. He insists on going alone and I dont want him to. We have had many arguments about this and I am very frustrated that he wont listen to me and take my feelings into consideration and not go. I need some help in what I should do to get him to listen to me and understand that I can not just let him leave for bike week alone (without me). I think he is being very selfish, and wont even listen to me anymore when I try to talk to him about it. What should I do? PLEASE HELP ME, I've only got a week or two left. If he goes I will probably be suicidal thats why Im scared.

I think that the two of you need to work on many other things before you tie the knot. Why would you want to end your life if he goes on a bike trip? What exactly is it you think will happen if he is without you? This is no way to start a marriage. Maybe you two should go to premarital counseling.

well as i seem to read it looks like its suppose to be like a couple thing to do and since your not able to go whats going to be fun if your not there when he turns to his side..he should try to sit this one out but then again let him do what he enjoys to do, not everything in life will happen they way you want it to be...let it go
You being so insecure is probly making him think he needs a break from you. If you are that sure you cant be alone take the time off,call in sick....that is the term for being suicdal. I would also let your b/f know why you dont want him to go and discuss the real reason you dont want him goin alone. If all else fails try tears men dont like them there womens secret weapon.
ill go with him and keep him in line lol no i went in 03 for 11 days without my wife theresw nothin wrong with it i had fun without gettin in trouble as long as theres trust
